Dr. Alejandra Garcia is a compassionate and dedicated physician committed to providing patient-centered care with a strong focus on preventative medicine, patient education, and underserved community outreach.
She earned her undergraduate degree from Kennesaw State University and went on to complete her medical training at the Medical College of Georgia through the Augusta University/University of Georgia Medical Partnership in Athens. Dr. Garcia is licensed by the Georgia Medical Board and has practiced in the Athens area.
Dr. Garcia is passionate about serving diverse populations and has volunteered in Latin community outreach initiatives, including health fairs and festivals, where she provides education and promotes wellness within the community.
Originally from Michoacán, Mexico, Dr. Garcia moved to Georgia with her family after her parents worked as agricultural laborers in California. She remains closely connected to her extended family in Mexico and enjoys visiting them each year.
In her free time, Dr. Garcia enjoys cooking, baking, reading, hiking, dancing, playing games on her Nintendo Switch and playing the guitar.
