Jennifer Dixon, Family Nurse Practitioner, is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a Master of Science in Nursing. She previously received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Medical College of Georgia. Jennifer is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nursing Credentialing Center. Before coming to Oconee Valley Healthcare, Jennifer worked in the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit at St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital, the Emergency Room and oncology at Piedmont Athens Regional, and as the school nurse at Lake Oconee Academy. She has been awarded Clinical Nurse Excellence Awards, was a Daisy Nominee, and was awarded Emergency Nurse of the Year from St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital. Her interests in the field include critical care, mental health, and helping chronically ill patients achieve wellness and reach their goals. Jennifer will be seeing patients at the Sick Clinic at our Greensboro office.

Jennifer has three children, and she enjoys traveling with her family, the lake, mountains, and the beach.
