TenderCare Clinic and St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital taught a wellness class at New Springfield Baptist Church this past Saturday, February 17, 2018. Outreach members from both organizations presented information on diabetes and hypertension to the women’s group at the church in Siloam. These chronic diseases are prevalent in the local community, and knowing about ways to handle care related to them is important for a healthy lifestyle.
