I’d Walk Forever for a Cure

Come join TenderCare Clinic and St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital at Greene County’s Breast Cancer Awareness Walk! The walk will be Saturday, October 13 from 5-9 PM at Tiger Stadium (Greene County High School football field and track). The walk is open to all community members to support our fighters, celebrate our survivors, and honor our taken. The walk will be set up similar to a Relay for Life-type event: you are invited to come walk laps in support of the cause and to raise awareness. No sign-ups are required for this event!

The theme for breast health month this year is “Detect It, Treat It, Defeat It!” T-shirts will be available for purchase at the walk, and different community organizations and businesses will be set up around the track with information and giveaways. Luminaries will be lit at sunset to honor those who we have lost to breast cancer. Breast cancer is very prevalent in Greene County and community support is needed to encourage annual well woman exams and yearly mammograms! Please mark your calendars and plan on joining us at Tiger Stadium on October 13th!
